On 28 February 2026, BYD @ Ubi welcomed the Lunar New Year with a festive celebration at their Ubi showroom, bringing together customers and team members for an authentic Chinese New Year experience.
The Carnival Fair was honoured to partner with BYD for this special occasion, delivering traditional CNY activities that celebrated cultural heritage and created meaningful connections.
The Carnival Fair curated a focused celebration featuring beloved CNY traditions—from classic street food to hands-on cultural workshops. Despite the compact offering, each element was carefully selected to deliver authentic festive experiences that resonated with the spirit of the Lunar New Year.

Fresh, authentic Muah Chee prepared live on-site, bringing this beloved traditional Chinese dessert to BYD's CNY celebration. Guests enjoyed sticky rice cubes coated in crushed peanuts and sugar, prepared using traditional methods. This classic street food favourite is synonymous with CNY festivities, offering attendees a taste of nostalgic flavours and cultural authenticity.

A hands-on Lion Pendant DIY workshop allowed guests to create their own festive keepsakes. Participants crafted decorative lion pendants—a symbol of prosperity, courage, and good fortune in Chinese culture—perfect for celebrating the new year. This engaging workshop provided both entertainment and meaningful takeaways, allowing attendees to bring home handmade symbols of luck and celebration.
BYD @ Ubi's CNY Celebration 2026 showcased how The Carnival Fair can deliver authentic cultural experiences that honour tradition while creating community connections. Through traditional food offerings and meaningful DIY workshops, we helped BYD welcome the Lunar New Year with activities that resonated with the season's spirit of renewal and prosperity.
